Around our HOUSE BLEIWANG many traditional festivals and folklore events take place in Dorfgastein. The annual "Dorffest" in the village is the highlight of the summer. Margreth has been giving away her traditional liqueur and schnapps specialties for over 30 years, for which she is known throughout the valley.


An ancient custom is also the Krampus run in Gastein on 5th and 6th December, where locals with self-carved wooden masks in so-called pass with Nicholas and Krampussen walk from house to house.
