Where is Haus Bleiwang located?
Located in the heart of Dorfgastein at Kirchplatz 3. Shops, bakeries and restaurants can be reached in just a few minutes' walk, and the ski bus stop is right in front of the house.
Are there parking spaces?
Yes, there are parking spaces directly behind the house for our guests.
Where can I leave my skis?
The house has a ski room with a ski boot dryer – so your boots will be warm and dry the next morning.
How do I get to the ski slope?
The Dorfgastein-Großarl ski area with 80 kilometers of slopes is very close by. You can reach the valley station by ski bus (stop in front of the house) or in just a few minutes by car.
What is the Gastein Card?
You will receive the Gastein Valley guest card from us upon arrival. It is valid from the first to the last day of your stay. Many offers are free with it, others are discounted by up to 50% – for example, guided hikes, the Alpentherme and Felsentherme thermal baths, cross-country ski trails, museums, and many leisure activities. Is there Wi-Fi?
Yes, there is Wi-Fi in the apartments.
What is a hay mattress topper (Heu-Unterbett)?
Our beds have hay and herb mattress toppers directly from the farm. They smell of calendula, hops, St. John's wort, lemon balm, lavender and chamomile and ensure a restful sleep.
What can you do in the summer?
Hiking and cycling trails start right in the village, and the valley station of the Dorfgastein cable cars is just a few minutes away. In summer, the village festival is the highlight – and on rainy days, the thermal baths in the Gastein Valley offer a relaxing retreat.
Our local tips
